Send greirat to plunder irithyll when you hit the first bonfire INSIDE the barrier in irithyll. run through irithyll without leaving the zone and kill pontiff sulyvahn, DO NOT go near irithyll dungeon or greirat is toast. You CAN pick up the distant mansion bonfire thats right before the dungeon, but don't go any further than that.

Greirat is back with the goods, and now you can safely buy Siegward's gear to progress his questline.Send Greirat to pillage. Travel to Smouldering Lake via the rope bridge. And So far Nobody knows how to Save him or if its even Possible to Save him. However. There is several Indications that Greirat can be Saved. One of which is that Patches asks for Greirat and Dissappears after you tell him. Thing is. He apparently Fails to save Greirat. Which means he does actually try to do so. Greirats Corpse is Found ... After all, Greirat ashes state that he didn't steal out of greed, but rather to help the needy. Side note, that whole speech on human's greed made me view Patches in a completely different light. He's no longer just some troll, but really seems to be trying to teach people a lesson in greed.

When he finds out Loretta's dead, I think he's been welcoming death. I'm not trying to be cruel, I'm just expanding my options.

Also, u can try asking for it in pump a rum, a lot of people can just buy it from greirat and deop it for u. Either early kill on the Dancer or wait until Irithyll and buy it off Greirat. The enemies outside of Vordt's arena only drop the Lothric Knight Sword, Spear and Shield plus the armour set. They won't drop the Ultra Greatsword you want.
